We are proud to use local produce in particular Dartmoor meat.

Why we use Dartmoor farmers. Dartmoor Farmers have been custodians of the national park for thousands of years. Their grass-fed, slow-reared herds and flocks of native breed cattle and sheep roam the moor living unbound throughout the year. The superior texture and flavour of the meat is a result of the grass-fed, wide ranging farming process on the moor. Their ethos on the moor is simple: rear native breed animals, on a grass diet while maintaining as few food miles as possible to create a sustainable farming future. By supporting Dartmoor Farmers you are helping to secure their future and the future of the National park.
